Our story
About Christian Hospital Taxila
The First World War had been over for nearly four years, and the United Presbyterian Mission in the Punjab was continuing its work to meet the needs of the people. Dr. Gregory Martin was convinced the region needed a Christian hospital — and in 1922, after a considerable struggle, Christian Hospital Taxila opened its doors.
More than a century on, that founding purpose hasn't changed: experienced doctors and trained staff, working with up-to-date equipment, treating patients regardless of how far they've travelled to reach us.
